Es un colosal gigante gaseoso, m\u00e1s negro que el carb\u00f3n. Orbita la estrella <em>Eryllion<\/em> a una gran distancia, sin reflejar ninguna luz. Cuando la\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300;\">Corporaci\u00f3n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: 300;\"><em>Reiker<\/em>\u00a0estableci\u00f3\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300;\">finalmente<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: 300;\">una colonia en el planeta, se encontraron con la resistencia r\u00e1pida de varias tribus circundantes. Por ello, deambulan alrededor del terreno de juego desde una altura segura, y se precipitan para atacar cuando un jugador de DreadBall abandona la zona iluminada.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando un jugador comienza o acaba una acci\u00f3n en una zona no iluminada, debe realizar un chequeo de Cazadores Nocturnos. Este chequeo se realiza de la forma siguiente:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cazadores Nocturnos<\/span>: chequeo de 3 dados a 2+ (se requieren 3 \u00e9xitos).<\/p>\n<p>No se pueden usar dados en Entrenador ni de Veterano para modificar la tirada. Si el chequeo es exitoso, el partido continua de forma normal. Si el chequeo es fallido (es decir, sale uno o m\u00e1s unos) el Entrenador actual tira 4 dados. Por cada resultado de 3+ el jugador recibe una herida. Puede realizar chequeo de armadura. Las heridas (o muerte) se resuelven de forma normal.<\/p>\n<p>Es temerario adentrarse en la oscuridad cuando est\u00e1s en <em>Andr\u00f3meda<\/em>. Si un jugador est\u00e1 en la zona oscura y no se mueve o act\u00faa en absoluto, queda expuesto a un ataque cruel. Antes de mover las fichas de \u00abzona iluminada\u00bb debes tirar un dado por cada jugador propio en una zona oscurecida que no ha llevado a cabo ninguna acci\u00f3n. Con un resultado de 2 a 6 el jugador tira 4 dados como se explica en el p\u00e1rrafo anterior, pero esta vez recibe heridas a 2+. Si obtiene un 1 el jugador desaparece, para no ser visto jam\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Ten en cuenta que cualquier jugador muerto a manos de un Yarasa desaparece para siempre. En una Liga no puede ser resucitado, y su cuerpo no se puede usar para piezas de recambio o ser vendido \/ reciclado.<\/p>\n<p>Si un jugador Estrella muere a manos de los Cazadores Nocturnos en una Liga a\u00fan puede participar en subastas de partidos posteriores. Asume que hay un impostor o un jugador de talento similar esperando a ocupar su puesto.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>&gt;&gt;&gt; Nuevas Cartas<\/strong><\/em><\/span> &#8211; Hay un nuevo paquete de siete cartas nuevas, que se usan para sustituir eventos del mazo de cartas b\u00e1sico. Las cartas a sustituir vienen indicadas en el librito de reglas de la Gira Gal\u00e1ctica.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>&gt;&gt;&gt; Alerta<\/strong><\/em><\/span> &#8211;\u00a0La experiencia de lidiar con cosas que hacen ruido en la noche ha aumentado los sentidos de los equipos. El ganador del encuentro puede elegir uno de sus jugadores, que adquiere la regla especial <em><strong>Alerta<\/strong><\/em>. Cuando un jugador oponente se mueve a un hex\u00e1gono adyacente, puede interrumpir la acci\u00f3n para girarse y encarar cualquier hex\u00e1gono deseado. Esto sirve para evitar un Golpe desde la retaguardia o tener la opci\u00f3n de realizar un Contragolpe, o simplemente para generar una nueva zona de amenaza y dificultar las acciones del rival. Today you can learn more about one of the darkest and dangerous planets in the Galactic Tour, Andromeda.<\/p>\n<p>Andromeda is one of the most unusual planets in the known galaxy &#8211; a colossal gas giant, blacker than coal. It orbits the star Eryllion at a great distance, reflecting no light whatsoever. When the Reiker Corporation first discovered Andromeda they dismissed it as an oddity, and little more; after all, what value could such a planet possibly have?<\/p>\n<p>However, one of its trailing surveyors decided to monitor the solid core, and found something so unexpected that the fleet was recalled for a closer look. Somehow, creatures were living on the surface, which was covered \u2013 against the odds \u2013 in dark-hued scrubland and pallid vegetation. Most surprising of all was the discovery of the Yarasa, a race of sentient, winged humanoids, able hunters who swooped through the atmosphere to stalk the creatures that occupied its gas clouds.<\/p>\n<p>They were a fairly primitive culture, having begun to develop the basic rudiments of civilisation, and had built structures both on the surface and in the networks of caves that riddled the world. They did not seem to mind the enduring nights caused by Andromeda\u2019s long orbit \u2013 in fact, based on initial observations from orbit, they did not need to be able to see in order to hunt. The Andromeda report was met with great interest, and now many observers are eagerly watching to see how this strange exoplanet develops.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cargad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ekoo2.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>THE PITCH<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Setting up a safe zone on Andromeda was no small feat and the Yarasa had little desire for communication with Corporation representatives. When Reiker Corporation finally did set up an initial beachhead, they were met with swift resistance from several surrounding tribes. Though peace talks have made some slow headway, the creatures seem to ignore their own concessions and GCPS citizens still routinely disappear without a trace if they wander outside of designated lit areas.<\/p>\n<p>It is little surprise then, that Digby approached the Reiker Corporation to create a DreadBall facility on Andromeda. Such an interesting location with so much danger would make a thrilling prospect for adventurous tourists and DreadBall fans. Negotiations didn\u2019t take long and construction of an arena started immediately. Deciding to use the Yarasa\u2019s natural hunting skills as an attraction was a brilliant move, and it was decided the arena would be open to the sky. Slow-moving spotlights would illuminate parts of the pitch and players that wandered outside of the lit areas would be subject to the whim of the dark hunters that were no doubt attracted to the commotion. The inclusion of the Yarasa in the game has become so popular that some DreadBall fans don\u2019t come to support either team, but rather to cheer for the Yarasa!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cargad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ekoo3.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>RULES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Matches played on Andromeda are played on a standard pitch but incorporate several new rules and a new type of token called a floodlight token. These are described in more detail below, but essentially show which areas of the pitch are lit up at any given time. Players wandering outside the lit areas of the pitch are subject to special rules that represent the Yarasa trying to snatch them away.<\/p>\n<p>The ball, the outline of the strike zone, and the strike post itself are all dimly lit. Even the player\u2019s uniforms are lined with low-brightness LEDs. This provides enough light to aid players in locating what they need to play, but not enough to provide any more visibility than necessary. Because of this, players do not suffer any penalties for throwing or attempting to grab the ball. The referee is outfitted with powerful night-vision equipment and acts as normal in an Andromeda game.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>Spotlights<\/strong><\/em><\/span> \u00a0&#8211; Each spotlight token represents the focus of an off-pitch spotlight. At the beginning of the game, each player places two spotlight tokens on any hex on his side of the pitch. More than one spotlight token may never occupy the same hex. Any hex within two spaces of a spotlight token is considered illuminated (including the hex the spotlight token itself is on). An illuminated hex is safe and is treated just as any other hex in a normal game of DreadBall. At the end of every Coach\u2019s Rush, before the Rush counter is moved, the Rushing Coach rolls a dice. The Coach may then move any combination of spotlight tokens a total number of hexes up to the number on the dice. A single spotlight token may not move more than 2 hexes in this way during a given Rush. For example, if the dice rolled a 3, the Coach could choose to move one token 2 hexes and one token 1 hex, or three different spotlight tokens one hex each. Additionally, if a player starts his Rush on the same hex as a spotlight token, he will be blinded by the intense light. All tests made this Rush by that player are at a -1 penalty (in addition to any other modifiers for the test). Any un-illuminated hex is subject to the Hunters in the Dark special rule as described below.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>Hunters in the Dark<\/strong><\/em><\/span> &#8211; The Yarasa are exceptional hunters, but are unaccustomed to living in lit conditions. Because of this, they circle high above the pitch, only swooping down to attack when a DreadBall player moves away from the lights.<\/p>\n<p>When a player begins or ends an action in an unilluminated hex they must make a Hunters in the Dark roll. A Hunters in the Dark roll is a 3 dice 2+ (3) test. Coaching and veteran dice may not be used to modify this test. If the test is passed, continue play as normal. If the\u00a0test is failed, the Rushing Coach immediately rolls 4 dice. For each 3+ rolled, the player immediately takes an injury. He may make armour saves as normal. Any injuries or deaths are resolved in the normal fashion.<\/p>\n<p>It is unwise to linger in the darkness on Andromeda. If a player stays in the dark and doesn\u2019t move he may have left himself vulnerable to a vicious attack. Before moving the spotlights, the Rushing Coach must roll for a dice for each of his own players that is in an unilluminated area and has not had an action token played on it in that Rush. On a roll of 2-6, the player rolls 4 dice as before, this time taking injuries on a 2+, following the same rules as above. On a roll of 1 the player simply disappears, never to be seen again.<\/p>\n<p>Note that any players killed by a Hunters in the Dark attack disappear forever. This means that in a league they cannot be revived and their body cannot be sold for cash.<\/p>\n<p>If an MVP is killed by a Hunters in the Dark attack in a league game, they can still be purchased in future games as it can be assumed that some pretender or similarlytalented individual steps up to take the missing MVP\u2019s place.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>New Cards<\/strong><\/em><\/span> &#8211; When playing a game on Andromeda there are a set of 7 new cards to use in place of some of the original DBO event cards. Remove the following cards from the DBO deck: Worse for Wear, Not Well Liked, The Ego has Landed, Inattentive Ref, Vigilant Ref, Bored Fans, and Number 1 Fan. Replace them with the Andromeda cards before shuffling the deck.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>Stage Prize<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>&#8211;\u00a0The experience of dealing with things that go bump in the night have heightened the teams senses, one player in particular has increased their awareness dramatically. The Stage winner may nominate any one player on their team to gain the Alert ability. Increase the player\u2019s Rank by one and adjust the player\u2019s value and the Team Ranking by 5mc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Alert<\/strong><\/span><\/em> &#8211; The player is able to read the game far better than most, and is rarely surprised. When any opposing player moves into an adjacent hex, the Alert player may immediately choose to turn to face them if they want to. Note that this turn happens before any Slam is resolved or the opposing player moves any further. Note also that this turn does not stop any further action by the opposition; it merely allows the player to realign themselves.
